Irish Coffee

Connacht Gold fresh creams are delicious, rich, cream products ideal for use on desserts, in cooking to add extra flavour and body or for making extra-special Irish coffees.

Irish Coffee
Ingredients
  • 60ml Irish Whiskey
  • 1 tsp demerara sugar
  • Strong black coffee
  • Connacht Gold Fresh Cream (Whipped)
Directions

Gently warm an Irish whiskey/coffee glass in hot water. Pour whiskey and sugar into the glass and stir. Add the freshly-made coffee, filling the glass to within half an inch or so of the top. Pour the cream onto the top of the mixture gently using the back of the spoon to prevent splashing. Do not stir. Add grated chocolate to the top if required.
