Battle of the Baristas Winners

The final of the Connacht Gold Battle of the Baristas took place in Eyre Square on Friday 5th August in front of huge crowds.

Our competition, in conjunction with iRadio, celebrated the art of coffee making and sought to discover both the best barista and the most delicious coffee in Connacht. Following a full day of competition in which Connacht's best baristas showcased their skills across four categories, Monika Sandrikova of Mr Waffle, Newcastle, was crowned with the prestigious title of Connacht Gold Best Barista in the West after impressing judges with her own signature coffee drink.
