Supporting Your Community

Connacht Gold at the Heart of the Community Campaign is a campaign launched in May 2009 to reward our consumers for their loyal support over the years and to ask for their continued support in buying and supporting Connacht Gold products and services into the future. As part of our campaign we have undertaken to inform our communities what Connacht Gold as a business has contributed to the local economy in the West of Ireland in wages and salaries (€26.5M), Milk payments to our valued suppliers (€72M), how we protect the local environment through our membership of Repak and the installation of renewable energy in all our manufacturing facilities (solar panels and wind turbines) and how Connacht Gold impacts local communities through products, services and employment.

Connacht Gold has run a number of competitions on radio (Mid West, Ocean FM and Shannonside) and in all local newspapers to reward our consumers for their support.
